Ormat receives $16m geothermal contract in Turkey

The Reno, Nevada based geothermal company Ormat announced today that it’s received a $16 million contract to build a geothermal plant in Turkey. The plant’s output specifics aren’t provided, but the Forbes article does note that the plant can “produce electrical power with virtually no environmental impact”.
