This morning I received an offer to help volunteer at the ASES booth at Intersolar 2008 being held at the Moscone Center in San Francisco - so here I come! I’m very excited as this will be my first real experience with the solar industry. I’m looking forward to meeting many of the great people that run ASES, as well as getting a chance to wander the exhibition hall to learn more about what the different companies are up to.
The conference is being held July 15-17th, and will feature hundreds of exhibitors and is expected to bring more than 10,000 people to the convention center. If you happen to read this blog and are going to be at the conference, please come meet me at the ASES booth all 3 days from 10am-2pm, or drop me a note (or comment below) so we can schedule a time to meet in person. Of course, I’ll provide lots of feedback on my experience from the show on a daily basis (it is, after all, a daily blog). This is a very welcome opportunity for me to learn about the industry, the people, and the businesses involved, especially before the Solar Power Conference 2008 in San Diego which I’m planning to attend as well.
