Hawaii Solar Water Heater Mandate

Environmental Effects prompt 2 year moratorium on public-land Solar

Ormat receives $16m geothermal contract in Turkey

The Reno, Nevada based geothermal company Ormat announced today that it’s received a $16 million contract to build a geothermal plant in Turkey. The plant’s output specifics aren’t provided, but the Forbes article does note that the plant can “produce electrical power with virtually no environmental impact”.

SunRun gets financed for growth
